Here at CANINE CONNECTION we know how imperative it is to socialize a young puppy, as well as it is to keep all our dogs well exercised!
The best time to socialize young puppies is between 8-12 weeks, but we certainly understand your concern for your young dogs health. Click HERE for the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior's position statement on the benifits on early socialization to decrease future behavioral issues, and understand the likelihood of your dog picking up a disease after its first set of shots vs its last. Combining both concerns, CANINE CONNECTION is now offering 3 completely FREE playgroups weekly in order for your dog to get socialization and stimulation, all while in a safe environment with other dogs who are vaccinated and well behaved!! During these groups, all play is closely monitored and the dogs are not left alone to take matters into their own paws. This allows us to safetly monitor and correct young dogs and older dogs alike when they are being inappropriate, and redirect them with more productive and appropriate play manners. Some common concerns during our play groups are jumping, a lack of confidence, inability to read other dogs signals, impulse control and bite inhibition. All these issues are addressed during these play sessions. |

What will you need?:
- ALL DOGS IN ATTENDANCE NEED TO BE UP-TO-DATE ON ALL VACCINATIONS AND LICENCING IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
- Please provide a copy of your dogs records upon your first play session. Bordetella is not required but HIGHLY recommended since we will be in public space on Saturdays.
- At the start of your first play session you will be given a waiver of liability to sign, indictating you understand that dogs will be dogs, all ALL injuries and liability is the sole responsibility of the owner, and not CANINE CONNECTION.
